Dearest Marilyn , you and your Mum Irene ( Rene ) have been part of my life since I was a little girl in the 1960s .
We met you when your Mum ( Aunty Rene ) ran the toy stall on Nuneaton market , and you became close friends of my family .
When your stepdad Edgar died , you , your Mum and your little dog Blackie moved to Hastings to run a gift shop , you also got a job in Woolworths and worked there for several years .
My family and myself came to stay with you every year for our summer holidays , and we always had a fabulous time .
My sister and I always loved your collection of dolls . You were also a great fan of Cliff Richard , and saw him several times . You were also great at knitting , until sadly due to arthritis you had to give it up .
Following your mum sadly passing away you returned to Nuneaton .
We loved taking you out for your birthday , and seeing you on special occasions . You and your Mum were more like family than friends , and you will be sadly missed .
God bless Marilyn , may you rest in peace .
Love , Trudie and Dzint xx
